Located in the Himalayas, Vaishno Devi Temple holds special significance in the Hindu religion. Believed
to be an incarnation of Maa Shakti, Maa Vaishno Devi is supposed to be a combination of the energies
of Maha Kali Maha Saraswati and Mahalaxmi. Vaishno Devi Darshan is of great importance in Hindu
mythology and each year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims come to Vaishno Devi to quench their
spiritual thirst. Pilgrims are ready to undertake the excruciatingly difficult 12 kilometer Yatra from the
base of the Trikuta Mountains in Katra to the Vaishno Devi shrine to get a glimpse of goddess Vaishno
Devi.
The cave is located at a height of 5300 feet and contains three stones (Pindis) each one depicting
goddess Mahalakshmi, Maha Kali and Maha Saraswati.
Our Vaishno Devi helicopter package has been specially curated for pilgrims who are unable to trek 12
kilometers. We will start from Katra and then you will be transferred to a helipad that will take you to
Sanjichhat, from Sanjichhat you will complete a short trek to reach Vaishno Devi temple. Keep your
boarding pass handy as you will get the benefit of early Darshan only on showing the boarding pass.
The first day of your Vaishnodevi tour starts when you arrive at the Jammu railway station/airport. We
have made arrangements for an assisted transfer to Katra from the airport. Your hotel stay will be at
Katra from where your Vaishnodevi helicopter tour will commence.
You need not worry about Vaishnodevi helicopter ticket booking as we will take care of it. The
Vaishnodevi shrine board provides the Maa Vaishnodevi helicopter booking services and we book these
for our guests. Enjoy the relaxing views of the surrounding Himalayas from your Katra hotel.
We proceed towards Sanjichhat once you are freshened up. A helicopter will be waiting for you near your
hotel, as discussed we have already taken care of the Vaishnodevi chopper booking formalities. Upon
reaching Sanjichhat, resume the journey on foot and reach the Maa Vaishnodevi temple. Carry your
boarding pass so that the authorities can allow you to visit the temple.
Experience the divinity of the place and bow your head in reverence in front of the 3 Pindis which
symbolize the three mother goddesses Maha Kali, Maha Saraswati, and Mahalaxmi. We return to
Sanjichhat to board a helicopter which will take us back to Katra. You can buy some Prasad for your
friends and family members from the local Prasad shop.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.
The smell of the famous Rajma (kidney beans) is tantalizing and every spice shop in the market of Katra
will have Rajma along with other spices. Take home a piece of Jammu back home by choosing to buy
some spices from the local market. The markets of Katra are famous for other items like handicrafts, dry
fruits, and woolen materials, take some Kashmiri Kesar and the famous pashmina shawl back home to
impress your relatives. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Katra by taking a stroll through the town. Gorge on the
local Kashmiri delicacies at your hotel where a sumptuous dinner has been arranged for your
convenience.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast full of local dishes and then check out from the hotel and proceed towards
the Jammu airport/ railway station. As they say," Maa Vaishnodevi aapki manokaamna purna Kare"(may
